Left school at 1pm today and went to RI with mr kieu, sam and dj. Same thing happened as what dad during rehearsal on friday. Took oath, watched taekwondo demonstration and listened to talks.
Oh yes, there was a taekwondo demonstration cus it is gonna be recognised as an official sport in national schools competitions. Whats got into them huh, only introducing now when the whole world is learning taekwondo out there at CCs. Tried to start a taekwondo cca in sajc and it faild.
WHY? CUS ITS A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL AND VIOLENCE ISNT ALLOWED. No offence, but it really doesnt make sense to me if this sport, can add to the variety, introduce something new, teach people self defence o protect themselves, their families and country (okay sounds damn ridiculous).. IT IS AN ART. NOT VIOLENCE. Really depends on how you see it. Its so unfair to just totally ban it can.
The performance was great! Its more of offensive rather than the defensive we learn. Guess it's only more offensive when you reach black belt. Oh wells, i shouldnt have stopped, ahahhaha since im just one belt away! Like i can remember anything anyway..
Had a talk after that about doping or, taking drugs before a competition such as steroids and other hormones to make one stronger so as to increase chances of winning. Talked bout the side effects like when guys take drugs, they
"grow brrreasts" and their
"testicles shrrrink in size". That was exactly what the guy said! He said guys
"grow big up there and small down there". As for women, they grow facial hair and if im not wrong, have deeper voice like a man.
HAHHAA WHAT THE! DAMN FUNNY LA!
After that, we went down for refreshments. The fruit tarts didnt really taste like fruit tarts and the brownie didnt really taste like brownies. Heh. Anyway, was not a bad day afterall, other than the diarrhoea i had -.-
