HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR
AND
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL!!!Visiting has always been a chore cus my family is freakin big caaaaan.. Its gonna take the 2 public hols and subsequent few weekends after that again.
Anyway, went to the temple with family after reunion dinner and it was OMG. There was stampede!!! Ashes burning my arms, smoke stinging my eyes, drums blasting in my ears.. I begin to wonder why people have religions and if its actually just all in the mind. From that night on, the more i do not see myself believing in any god. Gosh, i super do not feel religious at all. If yes, only to a certain extent.
This new year isnt as great as the previous years'. Cus firstly, recession has indeed cause a significant decrease in my ang pau money. Secondly, global warming has unfortunately, caused an increase in the earth's temperature and days are literally filled with sweat and running around doing visits is really a chore. And lastly, people falling sick.. the mood is gone. A close relative just passed away due to liver cancer and the mood has really gone. It's really sad to see them grieve this new year.. I dont feel at all happy.
Im eating less goodies compared to last year, drinking water and fruit juices instead of all the soft drinks. Imagine all that sugar in one packet. Ahh! I feel so horrible and feel like i've sinned each time i take a sip of those horrid beverages.
And this year i'll drink less beer and more wine muahhaha! Will share with dad beer this year, cus its got so much gas, gonna gimme beer belly and make me burp like crazy.
Omg its just the second day of new year and im exhausted already. SHIT! Havent done my gp! Sian.. -.-
Oh yes, forgot to say that i left my sunflower at zac's place!!! Now he has to look after it for me.. ): Happy Valentine's! Off to bed soon, goodnight civilisation!
